The firm will soon be moving to a site in the Chorley area. In addition to domestic projects, the practice undertakes some retail, leisure and small industrial projects, and therefore experience in these areas would be beneficial also. Our Landscape Architecture team are looking for Graduate Landscape Architects to work out of our offices in Blackburn and provide design services for projects located throughout the county. We are a busy, award winning, established landscape practice offering excellent project experience and a welcoming and creative working environment. The team work on a wide range of Landscape Architecture projects including public realm, housing, LVIAs, regeneration and Master planning schemes. We are looking for creative Landscape Designers who can demonstrate excellent graphic skills and are familiar with the latest graphic software. The successful candidates must be proactive, well organised, have a professional attitude, and a sense of humour. We are looking to make a long term hire and are well placed to develop you towards Chartership through are support Schemes. Graduate landscape architects are responsible for: Architect & Landscape Design * Preparation of base plans, masterplans, sketch designs, detailed design and production drawings (planting and construction details) using AutoCAD, Photoshop and freehand as appropriate * Preparation of presentational material including exhibition boards, design statements, rendered masterplans, image boards and other illustrative materials for projects * Presentation of designs to clients and other groups * Preparation of production information (specifications and Bills of Quantity) * Undertaking site surveys * Liaising with clients Masterplanning, Feasibility Studies & other Reports * Presentation of reports to clients and other groups * Preparation of outline production information (cost estimates) * Preparation and production of written reports * Production of Masterplan layouts and Constrain mapping Requirements: We would like to hear from you, if you have/are: * Degree and MLA/DipLA in Landscape Architecture * Excellent presentation and graphic skills Desirable Factors: * Ability to communicate with people in a co-operative and persuasive manner * Must be fully IT literate and numerate * Comfortable in client-facing situations, able to influence and convince Capita | Real Estate & Infrastructure Capita- Property and Infrastructure Blackburn was established in July 2001, borne out of the Strategic 15 year Partnership Agreement between Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council and Capita. We are recruiting for a Site Installation in Blackburn As a Site Installation you will need to have: * A current CSCS card (minimum blue or relevant trade related NVQ Level or above) * Full clean driving licence * Previous installation experience * Previous site experience Duties of the Site Installation role: * Installation of bespoke architectural timber & metalwork.
